Family Constellations for Individual Clients Workshp

Family Constellation training for individual client work using figurines with Chris Assel M.A from Germany

This training is designed for facilitators, trainers, coaches, therapists, mediators, counselors, and all those with some exposure to this work. This training will add another dimension of single work making use of figurines for the process to work at a table setting to make it easier for your one-on-one client work. We will be focusing on the work with individual clients or couples.

The focus of this training is to learn everything around one-on-one client work in the Family Constellation work process. We will learn in what ways this process can go extremely deep, and why clients appreciate this method so much. This is the kind of work that I have developed for my single client work and will be featuring in the training. Figurines will be provided for you in the training for the actual hands-on practicing. Purchase is also possible.

SOUND HEALING WITH RA MUSIC (In German)

The Sound Healing with RA Music Workshop will especially appeal to singers, musicians, and people in the healing arts who would like to incorporate the healing power of sound into their practice. But previous experience in music or sound healing isn’t necessary – even people who consider themselves “tone-deaf” can enjoy the tools and techniques of this fun workshop as it enhances their sense of well-being. The entire presentation will be in German.

Christine M. Grimm will begin with a brief explanation of sound healing and RA Music (Natural Frequency Music, which is based on A=424 instead of A=440). Then participants join her in exploring the 3Rs of sound healing: relax (breath), release (sounding), and regenerate (toning and tuning forks). The toning circle with the 12 perfect pitches of RA also offers the opportunity of experiencing body toning. In addition, Christine will demonstrate how to apply the healing qualities of individual tones, overtones, and intervals with the voice and the tuning forks.

SOUND HEALING WORKSHOP

Sound healers Christine M. Grimm of Santa Barbara and Steffan Heydon of San Luis Obispo are offering their first joint Sound Healing Workshop on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 9am – 6pm at Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria. The cost of the one-day workshop is $89, which includes a delicious lunch in the beautiful oceanfront setting. Camp accommodations and meals for the weekend are also available for those who would like to extend the workshop into a retreat. Workshop participation is limited to 30 people, so early registration at www.CampOceanPines.org is recommended.

Christine M. Grimm will present the theoretical background of sound healing, supported by Steffan Heydon in the hands-on exploration of its tools and techniques. Some of the included topics are breath; release of energy blocks through the voice, body, and percussion instruments; toning and overtoning; Tibetan and crystal bowls; tuning forks; and holistic voice. The event will conclude with an interactive sound healing concert that integrates the knowledge and experiences of the workshop.

Christine M. Grimm, MFA/UCLA, has merged the concept of the chakras with modern approaches to sound healing that are based on voice analysis. After studying with a variety of international sound healing teachers, she offers workshops, private sessions, and concerts that combine songwriting with sound healing. Her “Sound Trek” feature is available in the September issue of Vision Magazine (www.VisionMagazine.com, page 26).

Steffan Heydon performs sound healing concerts with Tibetan and crystal bowls, didgeridoos, and Native American flutes and teaches people to play these instruments. Together with sound healing teacher Christa Ray, he recorded the Infinity meditation CD as Theta music. He builds didgeridoos and flutes, as well as selling crystal bowls through his own company at www.TwoTowers.com.

Karpeles Museum

For those interested in exploring the fascinating field of sound healing, Christine M. Grimm is offering a free lecture and demonstration. Acupuncturist Keith Adler will introduce the topic and the new monthly Santa Barbara Natural Healing series with events designed to inform the general public about alternative health approaches and create a stronger community of local healing arts practitioners.

The lecture on sound healing will be followed by a demonstration of various techniques, including breathwork and release exercises. Christine M. Grimm will then lead a toning circle that uses perfect pitches of the Tune Your Voice – Tune Your Life CD in the Key of RA (A=424 instead of 440, see her “Sound Trek” feature on page 26 in the September 2009 issue of Vision Magazinewww.VisionMagazine.com). Audience members will also be invited to try out the various tuning forks, including the body tuners.

Summerland Healing Arts

The class offers a relaxing group setting for exploring ways to more fully express yourself through your voice. It begins with relaxation techniques and includes breath, tone, rhythm, range, technique, timbre, projection, and improving the sense of pitch. Students learn to sing affirmation songs based on the chakras and discover the joy of harmony singing. It also includes an exploration of music theory in relation to self-healing with sound.
