TUNE YOUR VOICE - TUNE YOUR LIFE VOICE LESSONS AND SOUND THERAPY WITH CHRISTINE M. GRIMM, M.F.A. |
||
Christiné M. Grimm, M.F.A., is a sound therapist who understands music as a healing art. She has recorded a CD called Tune Your Voice - Tune Your Life, which is the name of her method for balancing the body-mind-soul using voice analysis. She offers private sessions for sound therapy, sound healing (with tuning forks), and the speaking/singing voice. Christiné M. Grimm completed her training as a sound therapist at the Sound Therapy Center of L.A. in August of 2001, following studies with Elaine Thompson (Sharry Edward's Signature Sound/England) beginning in 1997. She also trained in Therapeutic Yoga, which she uses as the basis of her private sound-healing sessions. In 2004, she studied the use of sound, color, and touch for healing with Fabien Maman at the Tama-Do Academy. She recently explored the use of tuning forks with sound-expert Dr. John Beaulieu and uses them to help restore a balance of frequencies within the mind and body. Her Tune Your Life - Tune Your Voice CD, which she produced in 2003, has 12 perfect-pitch tracks of chromatic tones in 4 octaves. In addition to active (toning/releasing) or passive (listening) sound therapy, the CD can be used as a general "tune-up" for the body-mind-soul or as vocal attunement for singers and speakers. Christiné (pronounced Christine-ay) earned her Master of Fine Arts from the UCLA Theater Arts Department and a B.A. in English (Minor in Music) from CLU in Thousand Oaks. She is also a singer/songwriter and producer of the monthly Santa Barbara Songwriter Showcase at Jensen Guitar. |
