TUNE YOUR VOICE - TUNE YOUR LIFE VOICE LESSONS AND SOUND THERAPY WITH CHRISTINE M. GRIMM, M.F.A. |
||
Christina Grimm performs heartfelt songs of love, loss, and transcendence that take the listener on inner journeys. Rooted in the folk-rock tradition, Christina began playing and recording her own music while at UCLA Film School. After a stint as a screenwriter, she moved to Germany and performed there with her bands Herstory, The Risk, and the Christine Smith Band. The latter group received radio play with "We Don't Love Here Anymore." During the 1990s, several Dutch artists recorded her "Heart to Heart."
At the end of the 1990s, Christina returned to Central Coast of California. She turned her attention to the secrets of healing with sound and began weaving them into her music. The genes she inherited from her rock'n'roll father Ray Smith have persuaded her to once again return to the stage to share the magic of her songs. She currently performs in the Santa Barbara area as a trio that includes multi-instrumentalist Martin Ball and studio-singer Lark Cobb. Christina Grimm also produces the monthly showcase Santa Barbara Songwriter Showcase to feature local performers at Jensen Guitar's Mainstage. She produces a cable TV show on Santa Barbara's Channel 17 called Santa Barbara Songwriter Show with showcase performers and other songwriters. See www.sbchannels.tv for schedule. |
